I smiled and reached over to pick up my spoiled little boy. Pink blinked at me through his large golden eyes. A paw patted my face as I held him close and breathed in the scent of his fur. He was a descendant of Mr. Mittens, my cat when I was in High School.
He batted harder and I got the edge of his claw. I jerked back and got a meow of hunger. I sighed.
"Why can't you go get a job and get your own food?"
